Good Tidings of ‘TT’ - Preview

Welcome to a festive edition of Train Terminal with some presents to see you through to the New Year. In this edition, we will examine the Class 66 running sample and the second running sample of the ‘Duchess’, which includes further alterations.

Class 66 Running Sample

Following on from the first shots shown last month, let's take our first tangible look at a physical running sample of the Class 66 (apart from the rudimentary 3D print). The first shots let us check whether the build was correct, and we then reviewed the running sample and tested it on the development track. All amendments have been fed back to the vendor for the second sample.
