How to choose your Hornby buildings
If you are building your layout to look like a certain place, then you'll know exactly where to place platforms and bridges on your layout and you can choose your products accordingly. And you can buy buildings that are similar to what is in place in real life, and if you're confident enough, you can adapt them to suit.
If your layout is more era-based or you are building straight from your imagination, then you have more creative freedom. The biggest thing to watch out for is the gauge/scale that the structures are made to. You don't want TT:120 buildings on your 00 gauge railwy, or vice-versa.
