What is era 10?
In 1993, the Railways Act came into force, introducing passenger rail franchising to train operating companies (TOCs). For this reason, this era is known as Network Franchising, starting in 2006 and lasting until 2017.
This is a great era to model, as competition for franchises was fierce and you may recognise many of these locomotives and rolling stocks.
