What you might have seen in the museum

Currently in the museum and pending restoration or overhaul, there is a handsome ‘Royal Scot’: BR 46100, a stately ‘Black Five’ BR 45379 and one of the first Eurostars to travel to France. There’s the Luggage Van that operated as Churchill’s funeral hearse, a Coronation ‘Beavertail’ observation car and even a Cowans Sheldon breakdown crane.

The museum also hosts some guest locomotives for storage, which then become honorary members of the collection.
