Space-saving

The biggest benefit of the TT:120 scale is that it takes up far less space than our traditional ‘00’ gauge. That means you can build more interesting and unique layouts in a smaller space, using a baseboard that you can slide under a bed or out of the way when you’re not using it.

If you’ve never built a model railway layout before, Hornby TT:120 can be a great place to start. We’ve got a range of starter sets to help get your hobby off the ground, including everything you need to build a simple model railway layout. Once you’ve got the hang of that, you can expand your set with our track extension packs and start to build out your scene with our TT scale accessories.

The perfect compromise

The smallest model railway gauge is N gauge, but this is so small that you can’t ever hope to replicate high levels of detail. TT:120 gives you almost the same level of detail as ‘00’, but in a more compact form.
