AC7432 Decal Fix - 125ml

DecalFix is a water-based solution for softening decals and securing them into position, supplied in a 125ml glass bottle. Humbrol has been the modeller's standard for decades, and this single solution acts as both setter and softener. Decals are permanent once dry.

Key Features

• 125ml glass bottle, over four times the volume of the 28ml bottle (AC6134)
• Softens decals so they draw into panel lines, crevices, and surface detail
• Brush on beneath the decal and again over the top, from one bottle
• Dry within 20 minutes; hard dry in 20 - 30 minutes
• Water-based and non-hazardous
• Not suitable for children under 14 years

Ideal For

• 1/48 and 1/72 scale aircraft kits
• Military vehicles and armour with heavy surface detail
• Railway transfers and name plates

How to Use

Brush a thin coat onto the surface, slide the decal into position, then brush DecalFix over the top. Alternatively, immerse the decal for approx. 45 seconds until softened. Apply over Clear Gloss varnish to avoid silvering on Matt paints, and do not force dry, as decals may shrink or crease.
