AV0018 Weathering Powder - Light Rust - 45ml

Weathering powder in Light Rust, supplied in a 45ml plastic tub. The powder builds rust and oxidation effects on plastic model kits and resin models, and works on many other substrates too. Humbrol has been the modeller's standard for decades, and powders remain one of the simplest ways to age a model. Non-hazardous, and rated for ages 14 and over.

• 45ml tub of Light Rust powder with a Matt finish, applied wet or dry
• Mixes with sibling powders, including AV0017 Dark Earth and AV0019 Dark Rust, for layered rust tones
• Use dry for a dusty finish, or mix with water, thinners or Acrylics for washes and pastes
• Fixes in place with Matt Cote varnish or DecalFix, without disturbing the Matt finish
• Non-hazardous; avoid inhalation and ingestion

How to Use

Brush straight from the tub or a palette, or stipple the powder on with a stipple brush. Build the effect in two thin coats rather than one thick coat, then fix with Matt Cote or DecalFix. Clean brushes with water or Acrylic Thinners if mixed with Acrylics, or Enamel Thinners if mixed with Washes.
