• These terms and conditions apply to the claiming of a free Christmas tree when purchasing a Hornby Hobbies Set marked ‘with Free Christmas Tree’ at uk.hornby.com/free-christmas-tree (“Qualifying Purchase”)
• Promoter: Hornby Hobbies Ltd, Enterprise Road, Westwood Industrial Estate, Margate, England, CT9 4JX
• To participate in the promotion and claim a Free Christmas tree, the participant must make a Qualifying Purchase. The Christmas Tree will be automatically added to the order and delivered to the address stipulated on the order
• The free Christmas Tree promoted here is a Nordmann Fir potted Christmas tree supplied by Christmas Trees Direct with a full height expected to be between 3.5-4ft, measurement starting from the base of the pot to the top of the tree
• The Christmas tree will be despatched by Christmas Trees Direct and will arrive at the address stipulated on the order within 15 days from the date of Qualifying Purchase, but normally within 3 and 8 days
• The customer will receive a confirmation email or SMS from Christmas Trees Direct, along with a delivery update from the courier service the night before delivery, and the morning of the Christmas Tree delivery
• This offer is only open to delivery addresses within the UK and Channel Islands. Territories outside of this stated region are not included in this offer
• This offer is limited to the first 1,000 Qualifying Purchases made between 15/11/23 and 04/12/23. The offer will end on the closing date or when all Christmas Trees have been claimed - whichever is the sooner
• Only one set with a Free Christmas tree can be purchased in one transaction. Customers can make multiple separate orders
• This offer only applies to Qualifying Purchases
• Set included in this offer is R1282MY from £249.99 RRP
• Hornby Hobbies Ltd sets are available on a first come, first serve basis and are subject to availability. Once each set is sold out, there will not be any more of that set available with a free Christmas tree. Other sets may be made available with a free Christmas tree whilst Christmas tree stocks last
• The Promoter will not accept responsibility for any orders that are lost or delayed, regardless of cause, including, for example as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind
• The promoter reserves the right to increase the range of Hornby Hobbies Limited Sets available in this promotion dependant on demand and Christmas tree stock availability and has the right to increase the offer beyond 1,000 units
• The promoter is not responsible for any additional costs or expenses in relation to the Free Christmas Tree
• Any Christmas Tree product or delivery questions or complaints should be directed to Christmas Trees Direct only on contact@christmastreesdirect.co.uk or 01236 918900. Your statutory rights against Hornby Hobbies Limited as a retailer are not affected
• The Christmas Tree is non-transferable, cannot be exchanged and there is no cash alternative, the promoter reserves the right to substitute the Christmas Tree with a gift of equal or greater value. This does not affect your statutory rights. The Hornby Hobbies Limited Christmas Returns policy can be found on the Hornby official website
• The Christmas Tree cannot be returned to Hornby Hobbies Limited. Should you wish to return the Christmas Tree, please send to Gardeners Dream Ltd, T/A Christmas Trees Direct, Glasgow Road, Kilsyth, North Lanarkshire, G65 9BX. Return costs will be borne by the customer unless the product is faulty or not as described, in which case, please contact us for further assistance. • The Hornby Hobbies set will be despatched within 4 and 7 business days from date of purchase. Once your order has been placed you will receive an email notification from Hornby stating your order number. Should you wish to return the Hornby Hobbies train set, please contact Hornby Hobbies Limited Customer Services at customerservices.uk@hornby.com or 01843 233512. Return costs will be borne by the customer unless the product is faulty or not as described, in which case, please contact us for further assistance
• For shipping only, your address and contact details will be shared with Christmas Trees Direct and their courier service used for Christmas Tree delivery only. Any details shared will be password protected, will not be used for marketing purposes unless opted in by the customer, and will not be passed on to any other parties. All customer data will be deleted once your Christmas Tree has been despatched and delivered
• The promoter will not be liable for the failure to fulfil the obligations of third parties involved in this promotion, although the promoter will always endeavour to minimise the effect to the participants of any such failure.
• We take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions, and prices of goods appearing on the website are correct at all times and we aim to keep the website as up to date as possible
• Any orders and free items are subject to our general Terms and Conditions, with exception to shipping details as outlined within these terms and conditions
• The promoter reserves the right to suspend, cancel, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so without prior notice.
• The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
• Customers are responsible for providing accurate and current details such as addresses and mobile numbers. Hornby is not liable for issues arising from incorrect information provided by the customer, but we will make reasonable efforts to resolve such issues where possible
• By accepting the free item, you agree to these terms and conditions. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer
• These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
