Chapel Lane Halt '00' Layout

Many of you who attended Model Rail Scotland will have seen our latest ‘00’ layout, now called ‘Chapel Lane Halt’ by 81F in our Hornby forum. Thank you to everyone who took part!

Created completely from Hornby accessories and buildings, our talented Development Engineer Don has put together a complete list, so you too can build your own layout inspired by this one.

The layout depicts a typical countryside scene brought to life before your very eyes and utilises several Hornby scenics.

Here, you can see we added our own LMS ‘Turbomotive’ model to the track.

R7264 The Old Smithy & R9811 Shiplap Lean-to

R7295 Scottish Croft & R7270 Tin Tabernacle

R7122 Sheep & R7204 Beech Trees

R7266 - The Old Rectory

R7265 - Alms Houses

All rolling stock and accessories used were Hornby products. You will find a list of SKUs of accessories and track pieces that were used to create the layout here.
