Thomas & Friends™ are back at Hornby!

To mark the 70th birthday of Thomas the Tank Engine™, we're delighted to announce that the Hornby Thomas & Friends™ range will be available once again from December 2015! In addition, it's 30 years since Thomas first appeared as a Hornby model.

The iconic star of the beloved children's books and TV series was born in 1945, and since then has been delighting children (and some adults) worldwide with his escapades, alongside the other characters from the Isle of Sodor.

The cheeky little engine has been absent from the Hornby range for some time, but the range of train sets, engines, carriages and wagons is now available to pre-order, and is due for delivery in December 2015.

Fun fact - Thomas is based on the London Brighton and South Coast Railway 0-6-0 E2 with extended side tanks.
