History
The prototype English Electric 3,000hp diesel electric, ‘Deltic’ emerged from Dick, Kerr & Co. Works in Preston in 1955, as a demonstrator. Fitted with two Napier Deltic engines, it appeared in a head-turning powder blue livery with cream nose whiskers below an American-style headlight cowling. Such was the locomotive’s success, British Railways ordered 22 production models for use on its East Coast Main Line express services.

LNER - 'West Riding Limited' - Brake Third & Kitchen Third - Coach pack
Product code: R40477
Following the success of the LNER’s newly-introduced ‘Coronation’ trains in 1935, a new train was introduced to operate between London King’s Cross and Leeds and Bradford in 1937.
A new set of carriages was built that was identical to the ‘Coronation’ with four twin articulated coaches, though not the streamlined beavertail observation car, and named the ‘West Riding Limited’. Carriages were in pairs, sharing a bogie between the two, thus reducing friction and improving ride quality.
The train first ran on 27th September 1937 and achieved an average speed of 63.3mph (101.9km/h) between King’s Cross and Bradford. It was hauled by Gresley's ‘A4’ No. 4492 ‘Dominion of New Zealand’, which had emerged from Doncaster Works only three months earlier.
Services were suspended for the duration of the Second World War, but were reinstated in 1949. A modern version of the train is still operated by the present-day LNER with a 6.30am departure from Bradford Forster Square station.
The carriages are in pairs, sharing a bogie between the two. Coaches ‘A’ and ‘B’ in the eight-coach rake include an open third brake with accommodation for the guard, and a coach with a further third class area plus kitchen. Those are the highly detailed OO gauge model coaches shown in this pack.

LNER - 'Coronation' Observation Car 1729 (The One:One Collection)
Product code: R40481
The LNER built two ‘beaver tail’ observation cars for its ‘Coronation’ service that operated between London and Edinburgh on the East Coast Main Line.
Both have survived, finding further use in converted form in Scotland, though Car 1729 has been painstakingly restored to its original profile with a streamlined tail that mirrored the shape of the ‘A4’ Class ‘Pacific’ on the front of the train.
Passengers paid an additional fee to enjoy the comforts of the observation car in which refreshments were served by the steward at passenger’s individual armchairs. The ‘beaver tail’ was only added to the train during summer months.
This OO gauge coach model is a highly detailed replica of that classic 'Coronation' Observation Car, as seen in the One:One Collection in Margate.
What is the One:One Collection?
Imagine a collection of railway locomotives and other vehicles in which the subjects are not scale models but the real thing. The The One:One Collection is a unique gathering of some of the most iconic and historically important railway locomotives, rolling stock and memorabilia in the United Kingdom.
Each vehicle in the collection has either undergone, or is undergoing, painstaking restoration to return it to museum quality presentation, with many of the vehicles being certified for use on the United Kingdom’s rail network. From time to time, The The One:One Collection Museum will host guest locomotives for periods of medium or long term storage and display.
When these locomotives are at the Margate warehouse, they will become honorary members of The One:One Collection for promotion and merchandising purposes. As part of The One:One Collection, we are pleased to showcase this model.
Please note: the One:One Collection Museum is still in construction and not yet open to the public.

HM7000-21TXS: Bluetooth® & DCC Sound Decoder (21-pin)
Product code: R7322
Part of the innovative new HM7000 range, this 21-pin Bluetooth® and DCC sound decoder is ready to plug into locomotives featuring a 21-pin (NEM660) socket. You'll find the 8 pin socket in Hornby locos and many other locomotives in OO, HO and some smaller scale locomotives.
The decoder is designed to supply 1000mA continuous load to the main motor and a peak demand of 1500mA, making it highly suitable for most 00 and HO scale locos.
This decoder also has sound capabilities and comes with a high quality 'sugar-cube' miniature speaker. This is quickly and easily plugged into a socket on the decoder.
Also included are assorted 'speaker enclosures'. When installing the speaker inside your locomotive, picking the largest enclosure which will fit inside the loco body will give the best sound reproduction from your speaker.
Download your first set of sounds and install them via the HM7000 app - you can download different sound packs and change those on your decoder later if you wish.
**
An R7377 Power Bank can be purchased separately and added to this decoder. We recommend for ease you do this during the first install. The Power Bank will keep the loco operating during short power outages when running over dirty track or complex points - keeping the sounds operating and the loco moving.
