Testing the 'Duchess' - Preview

Welcome to the latest edition of Train Terminal, featuring a long-awaited running sample of the ‘Duchess’ Princess Coronation Class locomotive. We also look at the first shots of the Class 66 and see our Hornby team attending The Great British Model Railway Show, spending another wonderful weekend in Gaydon, Warwickshire.

‘Duchess’ Running Sample

A running sample of the ‘Duchess’ Princess Coronation Class locomotive recently arrived at Margate for us to examine and test on our development track. In the West Coast Duchess :: Hornby Hobbies edition of Train Terminal, we looked at the CAD of the Princess Coronation Class and the differences in the 3D printed model, most notably the smokebox and cylinders.
